Authorities in Romania have arrested figures connected to a group linked to crippling REvil ransomware attacks earlier this year, the European Union’s law enforcement agency said.
Law enforcement took into custody two people linked to attacks on Kaseya Ltd., a provider of internet services, and meat processing company JBS USA Holdings Inc., Europol said Monday. The suspects are linked to 5,000 computer infections and earned approximately $580,000 from the attacks, the agency said.
