• Proline FC 1-3 Kataka
Despite being numerically disadvantaged, visiting Kataka Football club proved too powerful for Proline following a well deserved away victory at the MTN Omondi stadium Lugogo on Monday.
Usama Kyoyemba, Nasur Nandala and Emmanuel Mukisa scored for the visitors who tallied to four points from two games. Defender Mustafa Mujjuzi netted Proline’s consolation from the spot as they remained rock bottom on one point.
Kyoyemba Usama fired Kataka in the lead after 30 minutes following a fine interplay with Emmanuel Mukisa before the former squeezed the ball beyond Proline’s goalkeeper Magoola Shatiff.
At the stroke of halftime, Mujjuzi brought Proline FC back on level terms in the second of the four added minutes from a brilliantly converted penalty ensuring both teams match to the dressing rooms with equal scores.
In the 47th minute, Nandala Nasur restored Kataka’s lead with a glancing header off a brilliantly curled ball past custodian Shatiff.
Mujjuzi would have added to his personal tally and Proline’s second but was disappointed to see his free-kick hit the upright.
After 55 minutes of play, Kataka were reduced to ten players after Hassan Wadenga was sent off with a straight red card for unsporting conduct.
In the 67th minute, Mukisa Emmanuel stretched Kataka’s lead with a sublime finish in the top corner of the net from 20 yards after being set-up by right winger Swamadur Okuru.
Kataka will play their third game on Thursday 2nd December, hosting Maroons at Mbale Municipal stadium. Proline will on the other side visit Luweero United at Kosovo playground the same day.
