The government of Uganda together with the United Nations high commission for refugees (UNHCR) has started verifying and profiling over 1.5 million asylum seekers and refugees in the country. The exercise seeks to validate and update the biodata of both asylum seekers and refugees for proper planning. The launch was held in the Oruchinga refugee settlement Isingiro district.
